mrchic
Hi I was getting a puncture repaired last week on my passenger rear tyre, and whilst there asked the technician to look at the drivers rear tyre as i knew there was 0mm on the inside. he said it looked like it was leaning. I'm hoping this is some sort of camber and needs checking adjusting. ideally i would do this before buying new tyres? I was also told the alignment is a specialist job, do i need to to Nissan cheers all Merry Xmas
Dblock
You need laser alignment. They will align all 4 wheels at the same time if your having uneven wear on your tyres. I'd budget £100 for the job and maybe tell people where you are so they can recommend garages. Do not go to nissan. You too mate.

4RE Leather
To add there is aset way of doing them and often a bog standard tyre place does not know this. I know of 2 places one being Abbey (who put the correct way up on here) And failing that RSR Tyres at Old Coulsdon who have the latest Hunter Machine. For good old fashioned know how I would go to Abbey:

I had mine done by ETS a while back when I got MPSS fitted and the handling and grip has never felt as good as before I went to them. Ekona
There's no set way of doing it as such, but each car should be adjusted to how the driver wants it to feel which will be inside a particular envelope of settings for a given vehicle. Any place can get the wheels pointing straight, but usually the experts such as Abbey can understand that a Zed might feel better with more camber or toe at a particular point on the car. 4RE Leather
ioneabee had the same problem as he was asked by a tyreplace for the correct meathod and settings. Not sure what happened. Best of luck as I am obviously not an authority so no point in me steering you in the wrong direction. Happy Christmas. . Daryl
Hello fellow Essex person! I live in Milton Keynes now,and over the road from where I live is a place called Atomic Wheels and tyres. Its an hour from where you are. Taken my Zed there a couple of times for various bits, including laser alignment, and cant fault them. They have the latest Hunter equipment and know how to use it. Just off junction 14 of the M1. Very knowledgable guys, (and a hot receptionist), and although they are not specialists in Zeds, they know their stuff, and always very friendly. Maybe abit closer to you than Abbey.
spursmaddave
You could also try DMS in Erith, just over the QE2 bridge they often do deals on laser alignment I think I paid about £80....
