z350convert
Ok, daft question, how wide is the car with door open enough to be able to get out when it's in the garage. Haven't got a Z yet but my 1930s garage is almost 15 feet long so JUST long enough and about 7 foot 6 wide giving about 6 inches each side to get through the entrance. I may need to knock a hole through the garage into the understairs cupboard to get out of the car. Alternatively I could move. Thank you
Goldcrest Four
That isn't a daft question Buddy, a rather good one. I use an 8ft wide (you did write 1930s) garage for a Zed - with a careful nearside bias, the wing mirrors fold in and a good intake of breath I can get in/out or the car. 4RE Leather
We covered this 3 months ago. get some pipe lagging and or simular and run it down both sides of the garage. Drive the car in so your left mirror is almost touching the lagging. push drivers seat back as far is it will go and incline as well. Now when you open the door to get out not only will it not get damaged because its against foam padding.lagging but there is enough of a gap for you to get out right leg/ shuffle / and thenretract your left leg out of the car. All the time saying to yourself. Did I really put this up on a forum with 10500 members!!! Its candid camera time again. Please take this in the spirit intended which at the moment is Brandy. Mind you if your a big fat bastard like me it may be a bit harder to get out!!

stuarty
If you press and hold the open button on the key fob the windows will go down allowing easier entry and exit. Then hold the lock bottom and the widows will go back up and the car will lock. Hope it helps.
