ddcboyle
The lock on the glovebox behind the passenger seat, is that a seperate key to lock and unlock? I tried my car key but unless im being an idiot, it doesnt seem like the right one. Its not locked, but would be a nice addition to be able to lock it. ddcboyle
hmm, ill have another go, unless the previous owner had the keys changed or something, no idea. Probably just being a retard and not putting it in properly
D8NMT
Mine is the same, but the key doesn't go in as far as you would think, almost like it only goes half way in, but if you turn it...it works!
spursmaddave
Never locked mine if someone has broken into your Zed a flimsy bit of plastic trim isn't going to stop them
RobPhoboS
One thing that confused me... why isn't there a glovebox where they are on most cars ? The other ones are useful but require yoga moves to get things if you're sitting down already.

AMT
I've got three keys and the 'basic - master?' one without the central locking buttons seems to lock and open it. Also confirmed by the manual. Mines is always left open though. Handy to get into the fire extinquisher that the last person left with full emergency kit... god knows what they were expecting to happen.. lol Edited December 14, 2012 by AMT250

spursmaddave
I seem to remember you don't fully insert it I have that problem, it's a bit too big to fit it all in, best not to force it

ddcboyle
ha, checked it last night, i was just being a retard. it fits. Was always expecting it to work like a normal lock, but line it up, push with finger so not too much force, and then just turn. it goes in like 3cm. hardly a lock. But i hate people creeping around my car while i nip into pay for fuel etc. Always got ur parents/gf/friend rooking through all your stuff
