Rear Parking sensors stopped working after airbag reset?

Evening,

I left my car at one of those Gatwick parking places where they pick up you're car and take it to a storage area while I was on holiday.Cheap but personally I wouldn't do it again.

Anyway when they dropped my car back to me at gatwick the air bag light was flashing. So I drove home hacked off and then did the airbag reset ignition palava. This worked fine. The light then came back on yesterday(6 weeks later) and I reset it again. All seemed OK until I started reversing and the rear sensors dont beep anymore!

Any ideas would be great.

Cheers,

Chris

I doubt that the two are related. The reversing sensors are normally powered from the reversing light circuit and the air bag fault is normally due to the wiring under the seat. They should be unrelated circuits and quite a distance apart from each other.

You are a very brave man to hand over your keys at one of those parking places having heard some of the stories at what goes on there, just hope in your case your car was not abused - 'fraid that is all I can say

I don't think the car was abused as it only clocked 7 miles from pick-up to return and I put the rev limiter on at 5500 revs but who knows I guess.I doubt the rear parking sensors going 6 weeks later are connected.Sounds like some sort of connection issue?

lesson learnt on the parking issue!

Anyone know the best thing to do?I guess take it to a specialist.

thanks
