Phlukey
Hi, as per title I am after a Nismo s tune exhaust for my Zed. Sorry to sound fussy, but must be in mint condition. Cash waiting ;-)
SteveRS
Keep an eye out these don't come up very often but every now and the you'll get someone selling one. I can get you a new nismo exhaust system if not.
Phlukey
Thanks Steve, think I may have spoken to you earlier on eBay wrt cargo net. I believe that the nismo cat back systems retail for around £1350 new and having only just bought my Zed, that's a bit out of my price range at the moment, sorry. Will keep my eye out for a clean used example, but thanks for the offer!
SteveRS
Yes you did indeed. No problem at all, I have various other exhausts available for the 350z if any of those interest you. The nismo one is very nice though, I've got it fitted to my own zed. Let me know if I can help you further. Steve
Beavis
They still fetch good money second hand too!
Phlukey
Japspeeds look great value for money and I know the quality of their welds etc is good, as I have one on my MR2 turbo, but just a little worried from what I've read on here that it would be unbearably loud (damn saying that makes me sound old :-/ lol). P.S. Steve, think I may have sourced a cargo net from Alex. Thought I'd let you know, just in case you were going to order me an extra one in, cheers. MITZ@CougarStore
We have a used Milltek system at our place that we're storing for a customer, priced at about £650 and only covered about 3000 miles, if you're interested let me know and I'll put you in contact with him... Phlukey
Cheers for the offer, but I think the Milltek will be a bit too quiet for me from what I've heard. Damn I sound fussy lol
spursmaddave
There are far better options for your money to be honest, Milltek isn't that quiet Just avoid japspeed and you will be fine lots of cheaper options than a Nismo. Cobra, Scorpion, Buddy Club etc etc etc All depends what you want, there is hopefully a big meet at the Grasshopper in Westerham in January, maybe hold off till then and head some in the flesh
Phlukey
Just love the look, as well as the sound of the Nismo (classy ;-), although HFCs will be needed to get it sounding its best. Good call on the meet. YouTube clips are one thing, but nothing compares to seeing / hearing them in the flesh to make the best decision I spose. spursmaddave
Exactly and also as I have found out it isn't just what you hear from the outside that's important either. I agree the Nismo is classy but you are paying a lot for the name unfortunately I have a Milltek + Berks HFCs and it is perfect for me, quiet when I want it to be and on the motorway almost silent but lovely growl when you give it the beans
Phlukey
Nice! ;-) What do the Nismo's tend to fetch second hand in good condition?

smudgedon
I've got a Weldina Nismo that I snatched for a bargain Been looking for just under a year until one came up, so I hope you're a patient man
Phlukey
Is the Weldina different then? £650 - £850 sounds good, as long as it's clean and damage free. May be pushed into blowing stupid money on new if I have to wait too long :-(
SteveRS
The weldina and nismo s tune are the same exhaust. Weldina is Nismo's marketing name in Japan and was the JDM version. Just hard to come buy in this country.
SteveW
Gutted! I saw one mega cheap a few weeks back and thought the Weldina was a cheap 'Nismo' copy. I've been a member long enough to know better.
