sukh13
I've been quoted to change the clutch on my car but wanted to check if it was reasonable. How much should I be paying to change the clutch on an 07 Z? From the likes of Independent: Nissan: Specialist: Thanks.
glrnet
Ok, , he'll give you prices for clutch and flywheel and will know the exact labour time, might be good to ask the independents for prices with you supplying the parts
Richardo350z
Hi mate basically I didnt have the time to replace my clutch on my 350 myself so I took it to my local Nissan dealer and for the complete kit it cost just under £300.The labour for it to be fitted was £320 costing £620 in total.Took them a day to do and I was given a supercharged micra for free to drive about in,which was a laugh.Tbh after speaking to the tech guys there I realised they didnt know much about the 350z and dealt with mainly micras, duke's etc.I would personally find a nissan specialist, they know what they are doing and may be cheaper.Hope this helps.Richard

Level 7 Boss
Why did I think a clutch and flywheel replacement cost around £800. When is it recommended to change the clutch, when it starts slipping or a specific age/mileage?

Competition clutch for that money - Replace it when it needs doing (slips or judders)
glrnet
The price above was just for the clutch
