rtbiscuit
AFM refers to the AFR sensor aka the MAF if it was thelamda it would refer to upstream or down stream O2 sensors
L4V15
Ok great. Thankyou very much. There was a dribble of water on it to be honest when I was checking earlier. Just a bit where it plugs in. I'll try carb cleaner. I'm guessing that's the spray stuff. Thanks again.

L4V15
Well it' been driven loads since the 24th and appears to be cured. Bought some electrical contact cleaner as recommended, cleaned everything I could find including MAF. Also bought some air intake cleaner spray to give the throttle body valve a bit of a clean. Guessing it was one or the other. Thanks for all the help! Now all perfect and ready to sell
