craig79
Morning All, Had a dig about and can't find a definative answer to this. I had an impreza with a 'Green' cotton panel filter and used to wash it in a rich fairy liquid mixture, agitate with a soft brush then dry on a low heat radiator. Never owned a K&N before, what does everyone else do to clean them ? Craig.

craig79
I know there are sites for this type of product - just wondered if if onyone had carried out a similar method to mine and had no troubles with the MAF sensor. Heard the oil application can cause MAF problems ? Craig.
Beavis
Would always carry out the correct method of cleaning if i am honest. I have a K&N panel filter and have never had a problem. The oil can be a problem but only if you apply too much.

Spray it on fill sink with warm water clean it out. Don't put on a radiator. put somewhere it can dry without too much heat. Once dry lightly apply oil and then stick some newspaper under it for an hour so any excess is caught.
