Josh350z
Hi All Does anyone know where I can get some touch Up Paint for my JDM 350z 2003. My car colour is Pikes Peak White (QX1) and having trouble finding it in this country as it's not a UK spec colour. Tried 'Courtesy Parts' website (USA) and they have it, but unfortunately, they want $65.00 shipping for a $10.00 product!! Anyone know of a website I could order from that does'nt charge so much!! Any help will be much appreciated.
Removed
usually courtesy is where people get their stuff.... you can ask one of the many US based guys on board here to help you out? i.e they buy it you send them the money and they send it to you in a normal envelope? or you could setup a group buy to see if anyone lese wants other stuff from courtesy? Chesterfield
Sounds likea good idea. One of the US members may be able to help out? I dont know where else to look otherwise? It may be a long shot as Nissan dont do that colour in the UK, but perhaps a dealer can order a US touch up for less?
Josh350z
Thank for your help Gents May try a main dealer. If not, will order from US. I was hoping there may have been a US site that gave an alternative to UPS Shipping. (Normal Air Mail Rates). Can't find any though. Maybe a Nissan main dealer over here might be able to source it for me. Cheers Josh
West End Motors (Bodmin)
Have you tried contacting a paint specialist? We use a company called SW Autopaints. Simply drive in with your car and they can match the colour. Ive had aerosols in the past and it isnt expensive. Worth a try?
350Znismo
Good Idea, i will ask a local company i know how much, and we could stock it as a club thing.
Josh350z
Thanks for your replys. I will give a paint specialist a try. Spoke to a friend of mine who works in the motor trade and he's going to have a word with a few paint companies he's used in the past.
