stuey
i have resized a pic for an avatar and its 100 x 100 pixels but how do you get the kb down to 6..........
Chesterfield
Is it a jpg? Some packages allow you to choose the quality of the jpg file, lowering to 8 will reduce the quality slightly, but hardly noticeable, especially in a 100x100 file, but it reduces the image size (in kb) dramatically. Can you attach it to a post and we can see what can be done?

rmmackfc
Photoshop allows has an option of "save as web file"... that's what I use
M13KYF
save it as a gif file and all the problems will be solved. With a gif file you can control the number of colours within the image. This way you can decrease the size of the image in KB terms
