Sarnie
Its all in hand. Yes I ain't gonna buy a new one In fact I would never buy any car new unless I was billionaire as the depreciation on cars is outrageous. My business plan is set to go 'live' on 1/5/07 and i'm 30 on 21/11/08. I'm looking at something like this : http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/144424.htm or even http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/141601.htm I anticipate to be able to pick up the gallardo for about £70k in 18 months time. My zed my be worth about £13-15k then leaving about £55k to fund the purchase meaning I need to save about £3k a month till then. I'm in the fortunate position that I don't have any kids, so there is no reason why I can't do this! I plan to purely use it as a weekend car and have a sensible car for the daily grind! The missus doesn't want it on the drive as it'd attract idiots so gonna have to find some kind of storeage.
Trev-the-Rev
Go for it mate. I always wanted a Lotus Esprit Turbo before I was 40. Not only did I get one of my own, but also one as a company car as well.

I'm currently looking into car storage and its about £30 p/wk which seems reasonable
Chesterfield
I fancy one of these within the next 10 years but it will work out just a tad more expensive for me, as although the missus doesnt mind it going in the garage....the unfortunate thing is the garage she wouldnt mind it going in, is attached to a different house. So yes - Im allowed to spend that much money on a car, but only after we have moved house. Best start saving.

My missus said the same but I bribed her with paying for our month trip to Australia in November and a new bedroom
