FUG
Bearing in mind it's an older 2004 gt model I am about to hit the 40000 mileage mark, jut wondering what kind of milestones this might indicate eg. Time for a new clutch, etc?? If any? Service is due in about 4000 miles
Dblock
Clutch wears out when it wears out not at a certain mileage. Make sure the basics have been done, brake fluid, coolant and belts and I think you will be fine.
spursmaddave
Plugs not due till 50k although if they haven't been changed in 8 years I would get them done.... Clutch when it either slips or becomes so heavy it is uncomfortable.... otherwise all the usual stuff as DBlock said
