CK@Chris Knott Insurance
I’d heard the rumour but it has just been confirmed by my bosses – we’re going to be offering an end of year SALE to sign up more of this forum’s members PLUS a special Christmas BONUS Prize Draw. Apparently, we’ve successfully negotiated with insurers to allow us to be more aggressive between now and the end of January 2013. So where price is the only barrier to you switching to Chris Knott, our staff have been told to remove that barrier. As long as you meet our usual criteria, we expect to be the best option for many more members as a result. It’s a risky strategy for insurers and not one that’s not sustainable all year round (before you ask ). We have a quote floor of £250 so we can’t chase premiums down below this but, if you’ve been quoted more, you’ve got a good chance of SAVING MORE MONEY WITH CHRIS KNOTT. As this promotion covers the festive period we’re also offering a great Christmas BONUS Prize Draw. Switch your car insurance to us before 1st February 2013 and you’ll automatically be in with a chance of winning a Ferrari Driving Experience at Silverstone*, courtesy of Chris Knott Insurance. If your car insurance is due in the coming months, put us to the test and ask Chris Knott Insurance for a quote. *You can choose from a Ferrari, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Fiesta Rally Car or single-seater racing car. No purchase necessary - simply complete our form at www.chrisknott.co.uk/carquote to enter.

CK@Chris Knott Insurance
Interesting, what is your usual criteria? The scheme is for both standard and modified cars with bhp increases of no more than 100bhp. It starts for ages 30 and over, and you must have at least 1 year's NCB – no introductory discounts are allowed. All drivers must have held a full UK licence for at least 1 year, and there must be at least 1 years experience of driving your 'Z'. Unfortunately, the scheme is not competitive on any M - Manchester, L - Liverpool, OL - Oldham & SK1-12 - Stockport postcodes, and excludes Northern Ireland. No more than 1x SP/PC/PL conviction offence per driver. The minimum premiums are £250 for Comprehensive & £200 for TPFT cover.

CK@Chris Knott Insurance
Thats me out then. So why the 100bhp limit over stock? And how do you come up with this number please? We don't come up with the numbers the insurers do. It was 50bhp until recently - it's always to do with claims stats as to what they'll allow. We had to push to get it upto to 100. A good insurance deal and a Ferrari, can't be bad.
WhackyWill
I have a standard 350Z no mods, I am over 50, no accidents, no convictions, car kept on my drive. clean driving licence, max no claims. I got a very silly quote from CKI, over double what I was quoted on "gocompare.com"

deank93
Tried calling you this evening but you close at 5 .....seems a bit early considering people are at work which makes it difficult to call for quotes.
