Diab2005
Hi All I'm getting a P2 service done on my car soon and noticed a filter replacement is part of this. The only issue is that I have a JWT Pop Charger installed and would rather keep it. Do I have to replace it or can I just ask the mechs to clean it?? Thanks P.S Best quote for P2 is 220 (Inc. Oil etc. and courtesy car) and thats at a Nissan garage
MITZ@CougarStore
They can be cleaned and reused, so this shouldn't be an issue... K&N do a oil kit, which I'm sure many members use...
Diab2005
Is the oil kit everything you need for the P2???
Jay
The oil kit is to clean the filter mate

Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Just tell them you don't need the filter replacing and clean it with pretty much any filter oil. No problemos !! When it does get too shabby the filter on its own can be replaced but they are good for a long time

ThriftyFifty
£220 at the Nissan garage?!?!?!?!?! Those monsters quoted me £380! That was Nissan Ancaster Croydon. Edited November 10, 2012 by ThriftyFifty
Vik54
You need to ask them the question £220 for exactly what over and above oil change and filter? If you're keeping the pop charger clean it yourself and don't over oil it!
Sly@Kaizer Motor
P2 at my garage is include air filter, oil, oil filter, brake fluid change, screen wash top up wheel alignment check and general check over for £120 (-10% for forum members). If you have an air filter like K&N we can save a further £20 of that price.(all inc.genuine Nissan parts,Mobil 1 oil, labour and VAT) so even £220 it's a robbery IMO.
