Toad
Hi All, I live 20 miles north of Bristol and about to purchase my first 350z - at bloody last only took me 44 years to get it - anyway I know it's going to be expensive and things like the clutch etc will go in the future - so can anyone point me to a good local garage or how i would go about getting work done in the future - would I buy the parts through a trader here and then find a local garage to fit them and just charge labour ? any advise greatly appreciated
TameRacingDriver
The 350Z has been out for 44 years?! My word, I never knew I just get bits of Zmanalex and get a back street garage to fit them.
MITZ@CougarStore
We have a few owners local to the area, we can supply all the parts if and when needed, so do let us know if we can help, or if you fancy a drive to Leicester, we can also fit everything we supply too... rabbitstew
Welcome!! The zed is very easy to service yourself to keep costs down and there are several traders on here who can supply you with all the bits.
jhutch
There cheap unless you have to replace certain parts, like fan motors, that hurt to the tune of £800,

spursmaddave
most things on a Zed are not as bad as you might think, around £800 for a clutch & flywheel from a trader and fitting is not too bad in my book... Good luck with the search Edited November 7, 2012 by spursmaddave

Toad
Well I got it today and boy it's a beast of a car - love it pic of it sat proudly on my drive Only thing that occurs sometimes is a vibration under the bonnet or in the air vents when get the rev's right up - its intermitent, they did check everything mechanical out to sort it and tightens some pipes or something, but tit came back once today after a big push in 2nd - it's not major but could annoy me if it occurs more often - still chuffed to bits with the purchase Edited November 8, 2012 by Toad
