indy88
Hi guys I need some advice regarding a slow puncture: I'm losing about 10psi over 24hours, I am thinking I will get it repaired and replace the tyres in about 6 months (when I was planning to replace them all around) I currently have Bridgestone Potenza's all around and would like to replace them all in one go so they are same brand + tread Should a repair be ok for this time period and how much should I be paying? spursmaddave
You sure its a puncture? I had similar when I first had my Zed and it was a faulty valve
rtbiscuit
repairs are fine as long as the puncture is not on the side wall, and about an inch from the edge. a repaired tyre is fine if its done right.
Keyser
Depends where the puncture is - if its a leaky valve - happy days If its a nail or simlar and not to close to the side wall then a repair should be OK - They won't repair it if its to close to or in the side wall. I paid £10 for a plug repair - but I know the garage ownner.

indy88
You sure its a puncture? I had similar when I first had my Zed and it was a faulty valve Im pretty sure its not the valve, I put a tiny bit of soapy water on the front and nothing was really happening to indicate a leaky valve, unless thats not the right way to check?
