yumyum
So, my carbon fibre bonnet is starting to oxidise and go white (well, the resin is I guess) round the stress areas...any tips/hints/companies I should know about? Cheers
DannyBoy
DIY method would be to get it spotlessly clean, wetsand it CAREFULLY with fine grade paper until you can't see any more clouding, then buff it back up with a DA polisher and then finish with clearcoat. There's nothing there your average bodyshop couldn't handle if you wanted to get someone else to do it, but it's perfectly DIY-able if you're careful. yumyum
Interesting....I'm thinking that being clumsy as hell when it comes to this kind of thing a bodyshop might well be the best idea! Thanks for the info
rtbiscuit
Just don't get over excited with the sanding and go through the clear coat. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk
downhuman
Could try a decent polish first and then a decent anti uv sealant like Zaino or similar
