Aliensurfer
After my divorce I moved from Leeds back to Cambridge (Mums spare room, the haven of divorced 30 something's!) and joined my mates local pool team. The captain introduced me to the team together with his fiancé who was in the pub that night. She was 21, I was 32 (and recently divorced don't forget!).. Anyway, 8 weeks later she is no longer his fiancé and I no longer had a pool team... Still, 4 years together this year and going strong. Couldn't be happier. The online dating can work and should no longer be seen as a taboo, IMHO. Perfectly valid way of meeting someone. However, as my story kind of proves, it happens when you least expect it. tez162003
Agreed, I don't think online dating is or should be a taboo like it used to be. It does seem to have a lot of success stories. Even just from people on this forum.
