EvansJD2112
First mod done on my Zed Bose HU replaced for an Alpine IDA-X100 I had from my previous car. Sounds good and really nice to have my iPod connected back up I bought all the bits from Incartec and it was a pretty painless install thanks to the guides on this forum. Only thing I'm not happy about is the gap between the HU and the cubby. My last car, an MR2 Roadster, had a double din fascia and the Alpine fitted perfectly, on this install I cant even clip on the Alpine's surround as it sits so far back in the fascia and is actually wider than the fascias width. So, is this normal for 350z single DIN adapters? Would I be better with an Autolead fascia? If no option, any ideas on what I could use to fill the gap beneath the HU?
