Mark@Abbey m/s
We have a car and the Cat back 370Z Milltek system on site so we can do some back to back testing and tuning to get the best from the new Milltek system. We will also video the car while on the dyno to give everyone an idea of how the system sounds under full load and cruising , it will be recorded in our dyno room. Hope to have all the dyno work carried out in the next 2 days.

Mark@Abbey m/s
370Z back on the dyno still with stock map in ECU , car running very rich. Your see I carried out 3 runs with the stock system and 3 runs with the Milltek system to get a good base setting for both systems. A gain of 12 bhp at the hubs and 7 lb/ft is pretty good for a N/A car I am sure with a tickle of the stock ECU with Uprev will gain some more bhp and torque. Link to video Will have a tuned dyno plot early tomorrow I hope. Edited October 22, 2012 by Mark@Abbey m/s
Jay
Nice figures....... the milltek has always been quite a subtle exhaust.... better for the oldies of the forum
Mark@Abbey m/s
Okay back on the dyno again this morning tuned the stock ECU with the Uprev software , gained a few more Hub BHP and torque leaned the fueling out gain throttle response as well. Car drives real nice very torque sounds lovely under load and is lovely cruising on the motorway. When you lay the stock car dyno plots over the Tuned Milltek the car gain 20bhp which is pretty good for a NA car still running stock Cats and stock air box any questions ask away. ioneabee
whats the difference between the manufacturers stated 330bhp and the tests that you guys run - is there a conversion factor to compare or are the original figures just erm...false
Mark@Abbey m/s
330bhp is a quoted flywhel bhp measured on a engine dyno with the motor out of the car. Our dyno read @ the hubs so we could say 330bhp -292 hub bhp = 38bhp loss from hub to flywheel. 38 + 310 hub BHP (Milltek + Uprev remap)= 348 flywheel BHP. hope this helps.
