Vlad
yea, i had them bonnet pins for like a year.... never bothered fitting them... until my bonnet popped (slightly) open at some speed haha probably just need to adjust my bonnet catch, but at that point I've decided "right, bonnet pins are being fitted very soon"

Vlad
Well, got my car from bodyshop just under 2 weeks ago. Few of you seen at at Trax or on my Facebook. Matt@Cawston Bodies done incredible job once again. As you know, previous bodyshop completely messed it up, so Matt had to basically sand it all back down to bare metal/fibre glass/plastic and start from the scratch. What was done: Front bumper resrayed Front arches resprayed Bonnet resprayed and bonnet pins fitted Roof sprayed gloss black (instead of being wrapped) Door handles resprayed Rear, nismo, spoiler resprayed, as paint sunk in a little bit leaving a line in the middle of it Rear window spoiler resprayed gloss black Also he is gone extra mile and resprayed rear nismo spats as they were covered on stone chips and properly polished my headlights, so they look brand new now. All of that was done with a perfect paint match and properly blended it. Everyone who seen car in person in the past week commented on how good that paintwork is and now it looks soooo clean! And I'm happy once again! Here are few pics: But having my luck - after just 1 day (picked car up on Friday night and this happend on Sunday morning on the way to Trax) - i scratched my front bumper. Happened when we joined M40 and there was some kinda belt off a lorry or something in the middle lane, tried avoiding it, but didn't want to yank the car too hard as it was wet, so i went over it and looks like the end of it flicked up and made 2 deep scratches on the bumper They are not to bad, but still annoying! And here is a little video feature of my car (before it went to the bodyshop)

Vlad
looks awesome mate fantastic job done there, I share your pain having had my wheels refurbed and scraped them immediately going into garage I havent even taking it out on road yet One of my fave looking zeds Thank you It's hard to keep untouched when you try your best to looks after them When i put c/f lip on my original bumper - a rabbit jumped out on the road and that cracked front lip and bumper... that was 2 days after fitting it Then new bumper was sprayed (by 1st bodyshop who done terrible job, but still annoying) - i didnt engage reverse gear properly, so car rolled forward and scraped on a gate That was 3 days after respray And now proper job been done and it lasted like day and a half Not talking about wheels... curbed mine after like a week of having them! Thankfuly not bad and haven't curbed anything since lol
GMballistic
It sucks both (Darryl & Vlad) but at the end of the day you both know it's a car and I think I'm right in saying both of you like me are drivers, ...not show whores. Any car is going to get chipped & scratched when you're doing what was intended with it. Enjoy it Vlad and it looks mint from where I'm sitting.
ChrisB
Fantastic paint resurrection there One day, mine will be shiny like that too Keep away from BMW 4WDs driven by horsey mums. We have more than a few round my area, and everytime I pass one I get a stone chip it seems My car is like the moon at the front

I don't think it would've been as annoying if it was stone chips or if i scratched myself by driving into a wall or something. Never mind...sh*t happens
