Vlad
P.s. which quick release you using?
Ceejay29
Ah i see, it looks nice Vlad. I have the NRG slimline boss and gen 2.5 quick release hub. I preferred the wheel bolted directly to boss but as you have mentioned you quickly adapt. Nice bit of kit with a deep dish

Vlad
well, here's another small update... Fitted quick release today And picture of blue/red LED conversion of the dash + new dial cards ^ found 2 faults so far... "side lights/headlights on" light/LED not working and second half of the speedo is not very bright even tho all LEDs are on. Will investigate Next thing to change gear shaft (as it snapped as per my other thread) and hoover inside of the car Edited July 19, 2014 by Vlad
GMballistic
Very nice. Have you got one of those D loops in your Zed's boot then Vlad? It's a good idea if you haven't as it means you can padlock the steering wheel to it and leave it in the boot of the car when you go shopping or whatever. Can't find an image to show you but basically just a welded loop of metal in the boot which you can then padlock your steering wheel to. GMballistic
Was that the Korean version of "Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Drift" Vlad?. Lol. If you could set one of those rotary car lift garages up in your house to store the Zed now that would be cool.
Vlad
Haha I'm not sure...but couldn't find that scene in English lol Oh that would be cool indeed...or one of them garages that lift up from under the ground lol

Vlad
Little update It was time to upgrade brakes slightly... Bought a set of discs off Keyser, set of yellow stuff pads from Cougar Store and Motul 660 RBF off Clark Motorsport Fitted Fronts no problem Rears wasn't as easy as 2 nuts on rear drivers side wheel spacer rounded off... so men's best friend came to the rescue... Grinded off some of spacer around 2 rounded nuts to give more access for a size smaller socket... Also accidentally popped piston out of rear caliper (passenger side)... So thought it was good time to replace seals at same time... Ordered new spacer and seal kit off Clark Motorsport New seals fitted, brakes fitted, new fluid is in, spacer on, HAPPY DAYS Got some new wheel nuts as well Then decided to change my vortech filter.... really like the look of HKS mushroom filters... but SC diameter is 90mm and HKS only do 80mm or 100mm.... then Darren suggested buying cheaper filter (same style as HKS) and just replacing foam as original foam it comes with is pretty crap. So bought one of them Ash Performance filters, some RamAir replacement foam, took it apart, cut out new foam, refitted...and yes, HAPPY DAYS
GMballistic
Good stuff Vlad. Can be a right PITA when things like what happened to you with the spacer occur but well done for persevering.
