Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Hi guys, Had a lot of interest lately on the Stillen splitters. http://tarmacsportz.co.uk/350z-stillen- ... itter.aspx If we can get 3 then I can do them at £250, one of the best looking mods available for your Zed

Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Fairly simple DIY. Screws from underneath bumper
coldel
I bought one of these, and they look stunning on the front, also a bonus that they are not lower the clearance on the front either like a lip might so speed bump problems avoided also. You need to drill the holes in the splitter, the trick I found was to take off the plastic deflector thing which is already attached under the front of zed and use that as a template to mark the drill points on the splitter oh and put the metal struts on as well even though its apparently optional, they work well at keeping it straight and taught. Could you post some pics of the splitter? Tried looking at your album but the image links were broken. Quite tempted with one of these but just want to see how it looks on a black car. Would it fit without the struts as thats the only bit i dont like the look of.
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Coldel had one on his black Zed. I will see if he has pics Struts are optional but look better on IMO
coldel
no problem attached...I also added the side steps as well which complemented it nicely

jonst205
I'm tempted by one but I still think the Stillen is a bit too 'unsubtle' for me. However I don't think there is a more subtle splitter available? If the Stillen has a slightly smaller 'bib' then it'd be perfect (for me). The most subtle lip available is the Mines or the Veilside V1 (had one on my last Zed) and looks spot on.
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Bit pricey, the Varis was really nice but can't get those for love or money. Seibon do 3 options in CF that I can supply but again they are over £

WINKJ
I assume you have to drill the front bumper to fit the mounts?
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
I assume you have to drill the front bumper to fit the mounts? Self tappers I believe. But they are right in the top corner of the mouth of the bumper so not an issue. Due to forum closure I will run the GB till next Friday. Madhatter
Can these be fitted underneath the nismo front skirt?
coldel
Hmmm not sure, you need to mount it to the current holes where the undertray is attached and it protrudes directly forwards from there. Might want to check with Chris on that. Or maybe contact Stillen, they are very helpful fellas over there.
Tarmac@TarmacSportz
Not really, It's made to fit the OEM bumper not a Nismo one. You could retro fit it in theory but it might look a bit dodgy
Madhatter
Ah - thanks both! Was looking to try and get something that looked good but also protected the bottom of the bumper from scrapes - I thought a splitter could be "tricked" into doing the job
coldel
What about the APR option Chris? that works literally as an undertray as well as a front splitter and is carbon fibre
