Gerry67
Hiya all I have a slight problem. I have a 2005 zed which when is out of gear and the clutch depressed it is making a strange noise. As soon as I press the clutch in, it gets away. Any suggestions? Gerry
Husky
Most likely your clutch release bearing that's causing the noise. sounds a bit like a distant cement mixer
marzman
Have you had the flywheel changed? If you have a lightweight fly, it grumbles a bit when the clutch is out, but when pressed in it goes away. Perfectly normal.
Gerry67
Not sure about fly wheel. Only got the car a couple of months ago. Yeah, bit like a cement mixer

glrnet
Is search still not working? No mate, but use google with 350z-uk.com and the topic in the search and it should find it
rabbitstew
Id see if you can listen to another zed and see if its the same. I think they all do this to some degree. My HR with only 22k on the clock was making a noise which sounded very much like a release bearing also. Its apparently normal, and didnt cause me any problems over the next 20k i did in the car before selling it.
