M13KYF
You could have a broken wire in the loom in the back of the seat. I had this issue. Fixed simply with a bit of soldering once I found where the break was. Thankfully the seat covers have a zip at the back for access

leonk
+1 Had this problem on a BMW ended up going to a garage to get them to plug a diagnostic tester in. It actually pinpoints it to which sensor is activating the light. Turned out to be passenger seat wire / sensor. £30 for diagnostic and soldered the wire myself. At least if you have exhausted everything else you could try this. NB you need a proper airbag diagnostic device rather than the hand held OBD reader.
