RavenDW
Yesterday was fitting a new HU. It's not totally done, but it's better than the stock Bose unit for today. Today I've finally gotten around to removing the door button panels to strip and repaint them. Currently drying a coat and I'll be off to top it up in a bit. Looking a lot better already. If you can get some clear coat (lacquer) on top of those button panels it will last much longer & hopefully not flake off again.

H1979
Had windows tinted last Friday, first time I've been anywhere for a pic since. 20% rear, 35% sides, really pleased with the way it looks and the job. From what I've read this combo of tints increases bhp by at least 20 and with the previously added stubby I must be up to about 340 now, happy days
veeg33
Fitted my homemade custom DRL last Saturday but forgotten to post here. Whilst I had the headlights out, I've swap them D2R with 6k xenon, CREE side lights and silvertec indicators. The DRL has a controller that: a.) Turns the DRL on when engine is started b.) Switch the white DRL off when indicators/hazard lights being switched on c.) Dim the DRL by 30% when side lights and main beam being turned on d.) DRL remains switched on for about 20 seconds when engine is switched off Edited April 20, 2015 by veeg33
Baidan
Hi, were the DRLS hard to source and fit?
veeg33
Hi, were the DRLS hard to source and fit? Tarmac Sportz might still sell them. Try check with Chris. Mine was completely custom. Brought a set of 'standard' DRL from EBay, strip the PCB board out, trim down the silver reflectors. Then brought those clear smoked reflectors from US (via eBay), 'Dremel' a slot to fit the those above and black silicone to secure it. DRL controller is from Amazon. Took me about 3hrs to fit as it was my first time removing the front bumper and testing my wiring. Probably half the time if I need to do it again. Check out my build thread for more info on these DRL http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/91440-veeg33s-slow-dose-of-zeditus/ Edited April 21, 2015 by veeg33
scobie140
Fitted the front plate back on to keep the Police off my back. Not much of a mod but did have to machine a M16 bolt to fit the tow eye then drill and tap it to take a M6 bolt to hold my mounting plate. Used 6mm pads to compensate for the m6 bolt head. Has ruined the look of the front Left a few mm gap

RDON
had to cancel Wales as should have been moving! but its been delayed until next month now! but over the past few months done the following. Colour coded door handles de-badged and smoothed front bumper changed the front lip to the GT one and had bumper sprayed added ABS eyelids made tow eye mounted plate holder and fitted added nismo rep RT side skirts, but not all that good so when Clarkmotorsport can figure out the right part number for some of the skirt grommets that need replacing as they got broken taking OEM skirts off, I am going to put the OEM ones back on until I can find a decent fitting skirts to change too. had summer set of RAYS refurbed and will fit with spacers once I have new wheels nuts from Tarmac and sealed the alloys. RDON
not on my HR no! they look 3mm too short where they come into the arches and they could do with a bit more material to the rear of the sill area under the door as the gap is too large. they might be better on the DE, but there should not be a difference I would have thought.
