mat290490
As the title says - I fitted some berk HFC's and have now developed the CEL, ive tried the reset which was no good as it came straight back. Ive read on the forums that there is an adapter of some kind that goes onto the sensor on the Cat which will get rid of the CEL - does anyone know anything more about them and where to get them from? Cheers Mat

DannyBoy
The other fix is to get an Up-Rev remap and get the sensor turned off at the same time. You'll be making barely any extra power from the HFCs without a remap anyway so it's a good idea to get your money's worth DB
mat290490
Im planning on it dont worry, but i just want a fix until i can go for a Up Rev
TomS
Wouldn't bother with the O2 simulators/spacers. I bought a pair and still have the CEL appearing every few days annoyingly.
TEMPERZ
I have Berk decats with the built in spacers. I never saw or had any issues with the CEL coming on at all ! Had an UpRev last weekend but the decats were on the car for a good 6 months prior with no issues. Spacers might be worth a try....?
mat290490
Spacers cant hurt to try, for £20 its well worth it I need an uprev, just need to get the cash together first - oh and find a suitable time to do it as i live all the way down in Cornwall! Will370z
After adding the hfcs to my 350z it triggered the CEL esepcially when it was cold. Resetting it normally stopped the problem though, otherwise i was going to pop it back to abbey to sort it which they normally do after an uprev. cmck13
Yep +1 on the spacers whilst there are some that say that it didn't work the majority including me have found it does.It stops the problem by moving the sensors slightly back from the hot flow of the exhaust. MRH 350Z
Sensors worked for me for a while... then the CEL light came on for a week... and then went away and hasn't come back since
