DaddyCee
Hi All. Just wondered if anyone had replaced the storage unit behind the passenger seat on a Roadster with another bass bin? Is it easy to do and how best to wire to the existing amp (that's if anyone has done this before). Thinking of adding another kicker and just wanted to hear pros and cons before attempting. Cheers. Wasso
You'd probably need to ditch all of the BOSE equipment just to add another sub. But don't hold me to that.

The BOSE sub (read clarion) isn't that good at all. you'd be far better removing the original BOSE sub and fitting a custom box/sub/amp combo. Use a 4 channel amp and bridge the two rear channels to power the sub, the front pair can run a decent set of components up front. As for the head unit, I went single din to use a better DAC/transport mech (for SQ) but really wanted a double din unit for the screen & possibility of adding a reverse camera.
