sparky370z
Yeah, its a clarion unit. But with bose stamped on it. The only problem with using another head unit from another car is that they are married to the ecu. This means they have to be "divorced" and remarried. I can do the aux hack for you. Its a 3.5 jack. (like on headphones) that is soldered into the pcb. Its a good alternative but not always fool-proof. Just need the cable to run into the cubby. sparky370z
Does this mean no one can help? All I want is ideas on how to fit a aftermarket unit really The screen will become useless. Unless you can get an interface. Just replacing the radio part (bottom bit) will be Ok. As with the 350z the top screen becomes almost redundant for playing music through and you will be left with two separate systems. The oem and the aftermarket one. Top screen for sat nav Bottom screen for music.
stu1986
On the back of the bottom board where the heatin controls and radio are is this on one electronic board or is the heating controls on a separate panel? I have got full JL Audio components, subs and Amps to go into mine :-) Is there any single din head units that have the double din screens separate? Also the navigation button panel is this easily removable?

BigSlick
Forgive my ignorance but the GT doesnt come with iPod intergration as standard? You have to have 'Connect Premium'? p.s. Ive finally sold my car so I should with a bit of luck be buying a 370 this week... ;-)

Ive finally sold my car so I should with a bit of luck be buying a 370 this week... ;-) Cars post 59 have the 'uprated' touch screen connect premium. Older cars dont. They dont have the USB connection for the ipod. I think the GT has connect premium as standard. On the newer cars.

ioneabee
Well the one im buying is a 2010 '10 plate... Its a GT without Nav. erm....I could be wrong but if no satnav, then not GT = standard 370z
Will370z
Well the one im buying is a 2010 '10 plate... Its a GT without Nav. Best to check before you buy to make sure as i know some zeds did come without sat navs, some with the basic system and some with the connect premium. ie they could register a 09/59 plate car after that time so dont assume 10 plate + will always have connect premium (although in the majority of cases this will be true)
