Patch
Seems my new car has a bit of a ticking noise at idle, but can't here it once moving. Any ideas what it could be?

DoogyRev
Have you got an uprated clutch and fly wheel? They can be a bit clattery at idle
S1 HNK
Check oil level too
Patch
Oil level is fine. No history of uprated clutch/flywheel in the history. Fuel regulator, where is that in the engine bay? Will check that out.
narcotix
There are two: One to the left of the engine which is easy to spot, and another which is located to the back of the engine, under the throttle body ...
S1 HNK
A video would help as it could be anything and might help narrow down where the sound is coming from
Patch
Had a look today, the sound is coming from underneath the throttle body and speeds up when rev'd. I assume that is the regulator mentioned above. Is it normal to tick,or does it need replacing?
narcotix
I've got the same ticking sound coming from under the throttle body area too ... I've changed the fuel pressure regulator and it's still there ... Maybe it's worth getting some diagnostic work one before coughing up for the regulator as it might not be the problem ...
