Nearside center chassis Vehicle structure has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of the body mountings (6.1.B.2) Offside center chassis Vehicle structure has excessive corrosion, seriously affecting its strength within 30cm of the body mountings (6.1.B.2) Advisory Notice issued Leaking pas fluid Steering rack damaged but serviceable (2.2.C.1d) This a bad sign already? (this mot was passed at the same place where they did failures and advisories) Advisory wasnt fixed... what could this be? and the rust sounds awful? aterro Posted August 23, 2012 Author Share Posted August 23, 2012 just been told it was Underside near seats was rewelded with new panels, and all undercoated and resprayed? steering rack isnt damaged and its a easy job of a rubber washer? then he gave me garage phone number for proof- Was done at ford... I think your ment to underseal it when it was imported, well ive had 2 imports and got them undersealed when i imporeted them. Its maybe not been done in this case. My 350 is an 2004 uk car and its pretty rusty underneath too.
