Nico
Hi all, I'm looking to wrap my door sills with DiNoc carbon fibre vinyl and had some questions with regards to wrapping. I currently have the following: DiNoc vinyl wrap heat gun Hard plastic squeegee card Craft Knife (for cutting the "Z" logo out) I just wanted to ask how I should prepare the surface of the sills for wrapping? Should I sand them a bit first to get rid of the gritty texture? should I get some surface primer as well help with the adhesive vinyl? Or is it simply a case of just giving the surface a good clean and then wrap away? I'm looking to get the same look as the 4th post down in this thread http://www.350z-uk.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=63990 Many thanks! spursmaddave
I would say just give them a really good clean, if you sand them down you are making it a one way process, if you wrap the vinyl round underneath enough you wont need extra adhesive either Remember the sills will be covered up 99.9% of the time so no need to worry too much!
