ReadingDave
I have an 06 roadster and am currently in the process of upgrading the audio system. I have changed the HU to an aftermarket Pioneer unit that has seperate RCA outputs for the Sub. My question is does the Bose Amp that powers the Sub only power the sub or does it power the front speakers as well? At the moment I have connected the two sets of RCA leads from the standard loom to the two standard sets of RCA inputs on the Pioneer unit but I am aware that if the Bose Sub operates on it's own amp it will probably give me more control over it if I connect it up to the dedicated Sub output. As a second question where is the second amp and how would I get access to it on a Roadster?
KyleR
There is an amp beside the sub if you remove it and I believe there is a separate amp for the 6 speakers. Someone better informed will hopefully be along to clarify
