dasoupdude
Hello there, its been quite a while since I've posted here. Thought I'd share what has been done so far on my 350, I've put about 85k miles on it since I bought it with 55k and it has not once dipped below in performance. It runs strong as ever, great car. dasoupdude
I like that a lot Were the Akebono BBK a straight swop out? Alex Thanks mate, and yes they were..the only modification needed was a custom bracket adapter so the Akebono's can mount on the 350z, plus a removal of the dust shields (who needs em amirite?) The akebonos are an AWESOME alternative to buying an expensive brake like brembos or ap racing. Big rotors that fill in the space behind the wheels really makes the car look more aggressive, something about large brakes just strikes people a certain way I guess. Wow... Do you actually drive the car or just wax it all day? What's your detailing regime? I actually just did a quick detail with meguiars quick detailer outside my work, amazing what that stuff and 3 microfibers could do in 10 minutes. My detailing regime consists of washing it once a week and waxing just about once every month and a half..the paints not too great on my car so I don't bother going balls to the wall on it yet. Perhaps after my fresh paintjob. All the clearcoat on my roof is non existent so it looks almost grayish.

Brakes do look good. Im the same, i love brakes that fill the wheels nicely. Nice car by the way, though not a fan of the diffuser.

Daryl
Ah right,so they are the manufacturer of the brakes, like Brembo on the 350.
dasoupdude
Ah right,so they are the manufacturer of the brakes, like Brembo on the 350. Correct, I think they manufacture a lot of normal OEM brakes too. I would have preferred Brembos though, track performance on the akebonos are pretty "meh." They require some modification to be on par with brembos.. (lines, pads, etc.) Side by side caliper comparison.

Also by your comment of 'meh' do you mean oem brembos are better? Sorry for bombarment, its just im looking for upgrade too. Thanks
