drginger
Ok so found a puncture on one of my fronts. Its in the middle but there are two bits of metal in there spaced 20mm apart. So do i pay for 2 repairs on an old fairly worn tyre, or shall i splash out on two lovely new ones?? If so does anybody have anything currently for sale?? Cheers, Ian. fred-z33
you might find some places won't repair them if they are too close together. how worn is the tyre? if its 3mm or below you might as well just get some new ones
Leeroy
It depends how you drive Ian, I would always feel nervous pushing a repaired tyre hard - a blow out at high speed or during 'spirited' cornering is unlikely to end well for you or the car
