DannyBoy Posted August 8, 2012 Share Posted August 8, 2012 Just a heads-up; my computer has just been ransacked by a particularly vicious piece of Threatware that I strongly suspect came from the Pistonheads forum area. I don't know which thread specifically but it was the only active browser window open at the time so it's the only real possible source. This was a real doozy; it took my very butch and very up-to-date protection software, bent it over and gave it a thorough seeing-to with no warning what so ever. Subsequent scans have not revealed anything so I'm guessing this is a zero-day piece of software that nothing is picking up yet. Hopefully the Mods will forgive the reference to another forum, but I figured in the context this would be OK, and I know there are a lot of Pistonheads members on here as well.
