Lincolnbaggie
Have added Crystals in Lincoln as very good - they've had my Zed twice now - once to check an engine light code which they did and fixed for free when I popped in, and once for a P2 service when the whole experience was very good (from chatting to the sales guys about the new 370 to the technician who came out and asked me all about the car and what I wanted doing in addition to the basic service etc). Very good price (£184.13) and excellent free coffee. They even changed the brake fluid for free and mentioned the worn rear wiper blade but suggested I get it from elsewhere as their prices were "ridiculous". nattcharles
Evans Halshaw Nissan Bedford - took my car in for P3 service about 5 weeks ago, I supplied 5L Silkolene oil so it cost around £250 for the service. Never got the 0.3L of oil that should have been left back. At the same time I asked them to look into clicking rear axle issue which upon collection of the car the service advisor said it was a concern. Now I bought the car privately from another forum member and the Nissan warranty had run out by about a year which I explaien to the service advisor. He said unlikely Nissan UK would fix it out of goodwill becuase of this but would call them to fine out and let me know. 1 week later no phone call back fom the dealer so I call them to speak to the service advisor and am told he is busy but they will get him to call me back. 1 more week passes and still they haven't got back to me. Being busy with work I didn't get time to chase them up untill the end of the when I call them again and ask if they have any news from Nissan UK. This time they say they don't know anything about it but will speak to their warranty guy about and call me back. I ask them if I actually will get a call back this time which they say yes and appologise for not calling me the first time. Another week passes and still no call back again I myself are busy and don't get time to chase them up untill the end of the week. So I call again and get the service idvisor I originally spoke to who said he was going to phone Nissan UK the first time. Told him I had called a couple of times. He replies he had not been given any messages about my calls which doesn't excuse the fact he said he was going to call Nissan UK in the first place and abviously didn't. I get no appolgy from him about this but he says he will call them now and call me back straight away. I get no callback. 1 week later I was still waiting and also ready to go mental at them! Having worked in the motortrade for almost 10 years it was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I know I should have chased them up sooner each time after I called but I was just too busy myself. All I needed to know from them was if Nissan UK would sort the problem as a warranty issue out of good faith as it is a know problem. I was pretty sure they were going to say no but I just wanted a simple answer either way so I could make other arrangements if necessary. In the end my wife called them again because she knew that if I did it I would seriously have lost my temper with them. She spoke to a lady and explaine all the calls I had made without any reply, the lady appologised profusely and said that she would book the car in for repair and do it under warranty for the parts but we woulf have to pay for some labour cost (about £175). My wife said ok and booked the car in for the job to be done. Took a day off work so I could take the car in today for it to be done. Dropped the car off and left. About a minute later I get a call from the Dealer saying there in no warranty on the car and that the job can't be done under warranty. So I go back I and tell them that their customer service is a total shambles and that all I wanted to know in the first place was whether it could be done under warranty and all they have done is waste my time and a day of my holiday. Unfortunately I lost my temper with them to the point where the conversation was going no where and I though I might actually punch one of them so I left. Think I'll just stick to using them for servicing, or maybe I'll start using the Nissan Dealer in Milton Keynes and see what they are like. Rant over, just needed to vent some frustration a little. lrh
Adding Martins of Winchester to the "Good" list. My drivers electric window started playing up on cold mornings a couple of months after buying my car from them. Took it in and they couldn't recreate the fault, so they tried greasing everything up to help. When I mentioned the used warranty only had a month to run the guy there offered to replace the motor the following morning, regardless of whether they'd already solved the problem (they hadn't and the motor was at fault). Didn't charge me a penny for the diagnosis or labour, or even ask to see my warranty document. On both visits they looked at the car straight away. Voodoo
BAD / TEDIOUS - I rang Bishops in Guildford 3 times in Oct 09 and each time they promised someone would returned my call but never did. More than that, what put me off was that each time I had to ring them back and mentioned that someone was due to call me back but never did, the person on the other end of the line didn't even apologise for their colleague and continued on talking as if I hadn't brought it up! Its a small thing, but to me is an indicator of any companies customer service. I also enquired about a drop in replacement Nismo air filter and was told they aren't a regular item so Nissan dealers don't stock them anymore with this, plus the lack of phone courtesy above I cancelled my service with them and went elsewhere. GOOD - WLMG in Hanwell had the Nismo air filter in stock, booked in for P3 service , MOT and Nismo air filter and other small bits'n bobs came to £562.72 hassle free with great service, sat in the 370z (v.v.nice but not enough of a leap to tempt me out of the 350z for a while - I think that's the GT-R's job!), the Service Manager knew cars and not just Nissan's and what he was talking about and the mechanic was friendly too. I waited a bit longer than expected, but all jobs were done well and all i's dotted and t's crossed properly.
bounty78
Just to add another to the Good list. Mobile Fleetcare, Freeth Street in Nottingham Had bits and bobs done on the Zed. Been very impressed so far. They seem to do quite a few 300ZX and have started doing a few Zeds in the area. Will post an update once i have few more things sorted out.Ask for Mick the chief technician and say Michael with the Zed recommended you. And to say the least, i'm really happy with the service I recieved and would recommend them to anyone. The car seen to straight away, the staff were very polite and professional and to top it off, it only cost me £102 due to my other half's staff discount. Bockaaarck
Platinum Nissan Bath - Good service, seem to be very helpful, friendly and professional, Just took my 2003 JDM in to these guys for my P3 service this Friday just gone. Decided to get the service done there after they very helpully ran a check on the ECU after I got an engine warning light pop up a couple of weeks ago (no charge, complimentary coffee while I waited etc). Took her in at 8 am and was given a little Micra to scoot around in for the day. Got a call just after 2 pm to say she was readyto be picked up whenever I wanted. I crawled through the rush our traffic in Bath and got to them about 5:30 pm and was greeted very warmly and the chap ran through the service report with me. £298 for the full P3 service with a replacement rear brake light bulb being the only additional cost. They'd even washed and cleaned her inside and out, wheels and all. Very pleased, even said they would be more than happy to pick the car up nex time and drop it back, to save me the hassle of fighting through the traffic. 350zStephen
Had my MOT at Nissan Arnold Clark in Glasgow today, and they were great. Collected my car at 8:30am from my work, and delivered it back to me by 11:30am with a fresh MOT on it. My 6 year old zed sailed through its MOT with no problems, so i'm very happy. It only cost me £26.50 aswell.
R800NER
Can you stick westway Kidlington to bad. Imo they are useless and have tried to stack me with unnecessary bills and poor excuses. Tried to claim that the clicking rear axle was my redstuff pads making noises....... finally got Nissan GB to pay for them to fix the clicking axle and all was good. Still a poor show though. andrewsin
Just got my P1 (level 1) Service done yesterday at Nissan WLMG in Slough. Got to say thanks to the service manager Mark Burton there, got a really good price with him! I supplied oil, they supply oil filter, also got my door locks done as they keep on jamming when it gets to minus degrees (half hour labour), i payed £93.30 for everything! Everyone should go to Slough Nissan to get anything done! I think they will soon have a definate discount for this 350z owners club.

I will speak to Mark when I am next in (next week) to see if we can arrange a "proper" discount. At the moment, he kind of does the best deal he can for each job off the cuff which can work out better than a blanket 10% or whatever. Glad to hear they looked after you, did you have a look around the 370z?

jrlkavanagh
A good experience to report this week with Westway Nissan Kidlington, near Oxford. £185 for P1 service, then MOT, fix squeaky brakes, squeaky seat, rattling window, flashing airbag light, paint touch-up, all for £260 including the service. No waiting, free brand new courtesy Qashqai (which was like driving a boat after the 350z), and friendly staff. Also several GTRs parked up outside - what a great-looking car! Will definitely be back there next year. The only downside was that if I wanted new tyres they would only sell me the Bridgestones. Going for Vredesteins instead.
