dobby
With summer finally here I had to give the car a clean I machine polished the car over a year ago and through correct washing technique the swirls have never come back Having OCD probably helps lol The gloss is mainly the actual finish of the paint rather than the wax applied My sisters Bora has shocking headlights that I have been wanting to fix for a long time but never had the chance. Friday was the day I finally got to do it. They were that bad that at night you could barely see a thing. I had to wet sand them down to get rid of the badly scoured surface. Original Sanded with 1500 and 2500 wet and dry. Not alot of difference really lol Finally polished out Here is a comparison with the lights on. I had my neighbour asked me to do his matiz headlights after seeing these They were bad but not like those. I didn't get pics of those though. Thanks for looking
Wasso
Nice work If you've got a machine polisher, that will suffice to do your head lights. 5 mins and they're done. Save all the bother with wet and dry.

dobby
Cheers. I initially polished the headlights but I didn't achieve the results I wanted so I sanded them down. My sanding would be the last resort though.
andylb
I've always wondered how headlights get like that? Long term abrasion of 100mph flies/stonechips? I can understand clouding from the inside but not on the outiside
