HaydnH
Rain Official supplier of weather forecasts for London 2012 I really don't care about the weather, but living in SW London and having to commute to Canary Wharf is going to be a nightmare! There's a practice of the 1 way system at Canary Wharf tube tomorrow... oh how I'm looking forward to that.

HaydnH
I dont envy you that journey. Good luck The road cycling passes through Surbiton (where I live), there's tennis at Wimbledon (the next station towards London) and that's before I even get to Waterloo... then I have to get the Jubilee line towards the main Olympic venues. <-- that smiley says more than I ever could type! glrnet
Don't envy you that one bit mate It used to bad enough doing a daily to Surrey Quays from Essex Is it just one day's dress rehearsal for the one way system at Canary Wharf? I dont envy you that journey. Voodoo Vix
The practice they did the other day at London Bridge was horrific, they made a complete mess of it and instead of easing conjestion made it worse (that's without the extra thousands of people going through!!), it was that bad even one of the security contractors said to the Guardian newspaper “I tell you, London Bridge [station] will collapse during the Games. They don't have the capacity.†My other half lives on the cycle route to and because it goes down the bottom of their road he wouldn't be able to take the car out all weekend (he lives in a close and has no other surrounding roads to go down) to go anywhere for the Saturday and Sunday so he has to come to mine so we can get to the airport lol So glad I will be in Gran Canaria and miss it all
HaydnH
Is it just one day's dress rehearsal for the one way system at Canary Wharf? Yeah just today from 16:00-19:00 I think... it'll be on pretty much throughout the games though. That's not too bad though as it forces me to walk passed the pub on the way to the tube.
