coldel
...okay, could be a wrong-un on many counts here ie asked before, wrong subforum, etc but hey what the hell Want to make my gold calipers red, I thought I remembered seeing various traders (Alex?) mention that they did some sort of powder coating swap deal but cant for the life of me find the thread...what other options? Has anyone tried painting them themselves with caliper paint? Wasso, saw he sent his off for painting, for that sort of job how much you looking at? Cost could be a factor here... Wasso
Alex does provide this service I'm waiting for my front callipers to return from Godspeed. Rear ones had no issue but the fronts had to be done for a 3rd time. Cost £300 That includes a refers and new seals and stuff.

spursmaddave
I didn't want anything fancy just a slightly lighter than stock silver and blue brembos, but yes good work and they can do different finishes and polishing etc

rtbiscuit
i'd always reccomend big red for brake refurbs. their paint finish is hardcore when it comes to durability.

coldel
All so nice, all so out of my price range at the moment though
Luke0549
Why not have a crack at it yourself? Maybe buy some gold paint just incase it screws up then you can do a quick fix?
coldel
I was thinking that, given that I got such a nice combo of centre caps and wheels nuts in red at the moment, red calipers would make it look perfect
rtbiscuit
my giant brembo jag calipers are looking chipped and i too have been toying a repaint. the only issue i can see with doing it myself is if you do it on the car it can be difficult getting a neat job around pipes etc. its best if you can take them off and do it but then the job suddenly doubles in size. if you need new decals i can sort that as well
