ioneabee
I've now done around 8.5k and have noticed that the outer edges of the rears are wearing more than the inner edges - front seem normal. I've been into a local ATS who say they can do 4 wheel tracking, camber, have the kit etc and have quoted £100 + vat I did ask the dealer before I collected the car to double check all tracking etc any thoughts on whether I have a case against the dealer for not doing as instructed on purchace, or just go and get it done ?? ioneabee
doesn't quite look as bad here - but its definately a problem - outside edge is much lower than inner edge
ioneabee
Hi all went in for 1st service yesterday and asked them to look at this results of depth of tread Inner Middle Outer N/S Front 7 7 5 O/S Front 7 7 5 O/S Rear 6 6 3 N/S Rear 6 6 3 They stated that the camber was NOT adjustable and the tracking was correct is this correct ? and should I be concerned about the uneven wear as above
Mark@Abbey m/s
looks to me you just drive the car properly; The rear camber is adjustable the front isn't I am afraid , the tracking can make the tyre's wear funny thou.
ChrisS
Inner Middle Outer N/S Front 7 7 5 O/S Front 7 7 5 O/S Rear 6 6 3 N/S Rear 6 6 3 Dem numbers are a LOT better than mine and I've only done 4,000 mile (OK rear outers are still 4mm on mine). ioneabee
its the 2-3mm difference from inner to outer that was concerning me, not so much how much has dissapeared
