dave1221
Hi all, i recently purchased a scorpion exhaust and it arrived today. Unfortunately one of the tailpipes has a flat edge to it where it looks like its had some weight sat on it The angles of both tailpipes look perfectly fine, do you think it will 'round' out again back into shape? Cheers Dave

Keyser
Yes - it can be bent out again but be careful as you don't want to mark it. I'd start with a broom handle inside and push it out , but to finish it completely you may need a dolly and/or sand bag and copper/rubber mallet (which you probably don't have). dave1221
I've emailed to see if i can have it swapped out, but the exhaust was slightly cheaper than elsewhere (but not sold as damaged - it was fully package up) and I believe the last one they had. I do have a mate though who's a Blacksmith and can do pretty much anything with metal and has every tool under the sun (plus ones he makes for specific jobs!), ive sent him the pic to see what he thinks. Chris AME
I have had product turn up damaged before sometimes they can offer a partial refund but you keep the exhaust might be worth a try as it seems fixable
Pimm
I had a similar experience when my scorpion also turned up not as bad as yours but out of shape when in transit. I was offered a good partial refund so I excepted and those tips are so soft they were really easy to reshape without marking the surface
Jay
Send it back mate
Vik54
Just because it was cheaper than elsewhere does not mean to say you have to accept damaged goods. You are perfectly within your rights to return for full refund as per distance selling regulations.
dave1221
In fairness to the seller, they have just got back to me with a great reply. They have offered to pick up the exhaust, and send it to cobra for repair. i just need to wrap the damn thing back up now!
