Will370z
Just been told the third attempt to refurb my wheels has once again failed and the wheel has come back a different colour. Not sure whether i should laugh or cry........4 weeks now i've been without rosie..... They even managed to sell my wheel accidently whilst it was being prep'd for a refurb. They put it on another car temporariliy so i could keep rosie, plan was to return and swap the wheels over when it was refurbed. Sounded like a good plan yeah.....ummm no, someone forgot to tell one of the salesman and he sold the car with my wheel on it. I was lost for words and there is a black rose 370 going around with an odd wheel somewhere. I've asked them to swap both back wheels with the brand new 370 they have in the shown room as im fed up. I love nissan garages.

Stew
Ask them to swap all wheels to ensure a match. If not I'd ask for 4 wheels to be powdered / painted together.
Jay
Feel for you Will Are they going to swap them? +1 That is bloody shocking Will. I would demmand a new set and see how that goes. glrnet
FFS They owe a huge "thank you" mate, tankful of gas, months road tax and insurance refund at the very least. That's twice that sales guy has epically failed now isn't it!!!? Hope you get it sorted mate

Wasso
Will told me the full story last night, it's problem after problem by the sounds of things, but when he told me Nissan had sold the car which I just couldn't believe his problems could stoop THAT low. I'd personally be writing to Nissan HQ, cancel that - I'd ask Ricey to write a nice polite but pursuasive letter to HQ reporting the garage and the ongoing issues. It's beyond a joke!! I feel for you mate I really do, extremely frustrating and we're behind you on this mate. And dealerships wonder why we don't use them. I got quoted recently £27 for 8 copper washers, I told him where to shove them, especially when he said " we shall need to order them in" In fact save writing Will I'd ring HQ and ask to speak with the most senior person in HQ and demand some answers and resolutions that provide you with a working car. I'm mad for you - seriously

philb1965
Beggars belief to be honest, the garage sounds totally incompetent. I would be struggling to keep my temper by now. I'm with you on asking...no demanding...the wheels off of the new car. Hope it gets sorted soon.

Will370z
Well just had another chat with the garage. Good news is the car is good to go - i can pick it up tomorrow morning so i will be able to attend the midlands meet wasso Bad news - the specialist garage who were supposed to take a look at the roof didnt bother as it was too risky, and didnt tell the nissan garage they weren't going to do the work. So 4 weeks later one of the issues hasnt even been looked at. Feel kinda sorry for the Nissan garage seems like they have outsourced work to complete idiots. Told them they need to fix that. They were totally embarrased and apologetic. They have taken ownership of the problem though and said if im not happy with the wheel i can take it where i want to and they will pay. They also said they will pay for the roof to be worked on by a specialist of my choice. Seems like there is light at the end of the tunnel but more hassle ahead. Just want to fire her up again and enjoy some driving. it better not rain tomorrow

I walked in and saw Rosie in this condition. 2 seconds later i blew my top got them to sort it straight away and jumped in the QQ, drove 20 miles to the dealer and went ballistic. I tell you ricey im having a big hot currey tonight and following your advice Nissan are getting a nice present in the post
