Mxandy23
Hi guys new to the forum. I have ATM a corsa Vxr but getting bored of it so looking at upgrading to the car of my dreams the 350z and i was just wondering what the petrol consumption is like I do on average 40 miles 5 days a week for wOrk and then the extra bits like around town and to car events ATM I average 27.9 mpg with the 1.6 corsa but that heavy foot everywhere and the odd calm, with the z I won't be doing it as much so I just wanted opinions on it I'm not really to concerned overall just would like to know in general cause I burn about 45 quid a week ATM and would look at doing the same with the z. Sorry if this is already been covered and sorry for going on lol Many thanks on replies Andy

rich-350
i commute 50miles a day 6 days a week and spend about £70-80 i get in the motorway around 28mpg if i stick to 70 on cruise control but when i get carred away the fuel economy is less. these are not cheap cars to run as the HAVE TO BE RUN ON SUPER also. not starting a super unleaded debate, search it theres laods of info on here HOWEVER they are lovely to drive and i find mine well worth the money, even just driving around town and on the motorway its a dream hope that helps. any ques pm me rich

scubapics
I get about 24mpg from mine on country lanes to and from work. I also avoid any traffic queues by travelling a bit further to avoid them. So around town you will get a lot less.

lmp2810
Welcome dude. I get about 25 mpg at the moment. I don't drive at silly speeds often as the drive to work is a bit slow (plenty of strangers to speed on the roads!). The Zed is more efficient than my boyfriends Mitsi Evo VII, but if you are worried about fuel consumption, this may not be the car for you! It costs me about £80 - £90 to fill up and as I only go into the office 4 days a week, if I don't do too much socialising evenings and weekends I can just about stretch a tank across 2 weeks!!! However, buying the Zed was the best thing I ever did and I think it's worth every penny

Mxandy23
Thanks everyone for there kind welcomes I run my corsa vxr on super unleaded already so I know the difference in cost but deffo the power difference and I have always wanted on of these cars since 2004 ish when I first saw one in the showroom. ATM I average 27.9 aparently to the crew room and get about a full tank 60 odd quid a week so if the z a bigger engine and I can do the same I will deffo be looking at getting it and also what are the mechanicals like corsa ain't well designed and have common faults on all has the 350z got any common failures Once again thanks Andy
