jell36
Cleaned my MAF sensor today but stupidly I lost one of the two bolts that hold it in, does anybody know what size they are and where I could get one from? Also do you think I will be ok driving the car with the MAF sensor only held in by one screw?
glrnet
I don't know size I'm afraid, can't you take the other one out and "size" it? Not sure about running with one screw, I'm sure one of our wiser members will be along soon Cleaned my MAF sensor today but stupidly I lost one of the two bolts that hold it in, does anybody know what size they are and where I could get one from? Sam Mcgoo
Might leak with only one screw in but drive it to a hardware store and take it out to compare for a new one.
jell36
cheers everyone, I've got no idea where it went. I was hoping not to have to size the other one as it's a nightmare to get out without the correct torx bit but guess I'll have to try it again. Gudzy
They seem to be called security hex screws, I got a set from eBay for £3 delivered. That should make it easier to remove the other at least. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160729342041
