sunshine
vid of my noise I'm pretty sure it's the same problem as mine mate, do you get the same noise in gear when driving? Almost like a supercharged sound? I'm replacing both the release bearing and the input bearing because i can't distinguish which one it is, there both worn so I'm playing it safe. Good news is it's not going to fail anytime soon, I've had my zed over a year and done over 10000 miles with no problem, the only reason im sorting it out is because my clutch needs doing anyway, but if the garage is doing it for you anyway then get it done Good luck getting it sorted mate and like I said I'll let you know next week if I've sorted it
B3n5253
That's good was worried it could go any minute! Not sure about it when driving in gear. Hope it solves your problem mte. I'll let you know how mine goes 2! Hopefully we should both be fixed soon :-) !
B3n5253
Had the repair report for the gearbox back for the noise when the clutch is up in neutral. The following parts were replaced. 1st motion bearing X2 lay gear bearings The guy also said that there will always be a noise as its a characteristic of this gear box but mine was too loud to just be a characteristic nose and there was a fault. Hope this helps anyone also experiencing this problem

B3n5253
The company I bought it from put it in to be fixed so not sure on cost or time. It was a full gearbox out and strip to fix fault. I posted a vid earlier on. I guess if you have the noise then u will just have too judge how loud it is and if you have a problem or not
spursmaddave
Doubtful a warranty would cover a clutch as it would be classed as wear and tear, personally I would try the garage and see if they will maybe do the work if you supply the parts
