As I dont have this problem at work or home I cant diagnose it
Chesterfield
Doesnt work even if just IP used, have even updated my dns to point at the same DNS servers being used by Mike and still cant replicate this error.
Chris`I
Not DNS then, must be routing related. No idea how we can work that out, that would be one for the host's boffins. I can try asking Amanda's techy's at work to see if they have any ideas. Its likely the hosts will have to sort it though.

Chris`I
Got the email. Has me baffled, will try and Google it IP address should get you straight into the server, so not sure why it doesnt work. Tracert for you and me are the same once it hits the hosts machines so nothing different there
Chesterfield
Cookie showing as being delivered from an alternate IP or reverse address and an over zealous security setting? Try clearing those out?
Madmarky
Maybe some of the ip range is blacklisted somewhere along the route, cant think of anything else that might be at fault.
Guest
Logging onto phone occasionally to monitor progress. I turned off router & modem overnight, no joy still. Think that's all you've asked me to do, a little hard sometimes to detect which of above is directed to me & which is internal chat?
Chesterfield
We are still trying to figure out whats causing this, as at least two other people have the same problem that they can access at one place but not at another.
Lincolnbaggie
Not sure if this is related, but I'm not seeing any images loaded into threads anymore - just the word "image" where a photo has been placed. Running Firefox on Vista Business. Any one help?
Chesterfield
What about signatures, avatars, and buttons like post reply etc etc.. Is it just the images like photos from meets, or is it all images on the forum, buttons, smilies etc?

DoogyRev
Just a thought, do the peeps having problems get dropped at the same point... try a trace route to the site IP to see where its failing ..... If you've already tried it I will get back in my box ......

Chesterfield
Thats the really bizzare thing. Tracerts, ping, nslookup, all come back fine. Mike can even FTP to the site correctly, but cant view the webpages - very strange indeed.

Can mike goto a specific address on the site say this thread viewtopic.php?f=7&t=62274&start=30 Maybe just the client does not know how to handle the execution of the site.
