Clutch Adjustment Advice

Hi All,

 

Can anyone provide any further comments on this mod

I tried it and can confirm the car is easier to drive (gear change) as now i idont have to float my foot in the air at biting point - so smoother takeoff & gear change

 

However, reading further into this, the pedal is now completly out of nissan spec as per;

If i release the Clutch i have slight play at the top before it engages, not sliping when i cnage gears - but am i doing any damage by running this mod? I'm worried its disengaging the clutch but still ringing the thrust bearing - if that makes sence

A bit of free play is normal, confirmed by the link you posted. Measure it to make sure it's within limits of 9-11mm. I've had the same bit of play you're talking about for about 1000 miles and no problems to report.
