sinbad
Am i wrong in thinking were limiting our members to people with 350z's? I know it sounds stupid but hear me out...Eventually the 350 will cease production and members of this forum will slowly but surely dwindle away 1 by 1. I for one love this forum and especially the other members (love maybe abit strong here ) which make it up, but i don't want to lose cantact with everyone when i eventually sell my zed. I know this is a privelage that i have to owning a 350 but it can't last forever under the current vice (is that the word?) anyhow what i'm saying is, should we not be looking to the future and changing our club to maybe Nissan or Z uk? this will surely guarantee that the club has a future and lasts much longer. There is a much bigger zed communioty that many of us get involved with anyway (Silverstone Z parade lap etc..). With the success of the 350 they are surely going to make a replacement in the future say 400Z and then what do we do? I'm a fan of all cars in general and not just the 350z which i currently own. Maybe im being an idiot.....
stevie_350z
I agree. But then perhaps we have to look for a common bond. Maybe it is love.

stuey
i think mostly people on here do own zeds but im willing to take advice off anyone whos got anything of substance to add about the car in general........ (admittedly tho you would have probally had to of owned a zed to have input on this but...) im sure there are some people out there who know lots about zeds who drive an escort............. sl114
With websites, they are all a phase anyway and people will find different uses for the web, hence the evolution of myspace i feel is just a fad. The social networking sites are great for now, but soon they will turn into something else. much like forums. However i feel that a website that offers more than just what everyone else is doing and stays to their roots but enhances that will stay around for a much longer time. I dont see this as an issue for the 350z site as yes they will stop production at some point and move onto a 400z, however people will still own 350z's and enthusiasts will still be around. Well said. There is also a Z Club anyway, which probably best supports the classic Z owners. At least this website supports ex-Zed owners sticking around, which is more than can be said for other clubs.
Digsy
This a site devoted to the current Zed and will no doubt continue until people stop driving them rather than they go out of production. There's no prerequisite to actually own one to take part and those who wish to stay after they have sold their Zeds are made to feel welcome. There are other forums for classic Zeds and Nissans in general and I think we should keep this one as it is. As and when Nissan replace the 350z no doubt we can debate how the site evolves with everyone contributing. Sound fair enough?

Chesterfield
We wont close. Members may come and go - but Im confident that this place will carry on for a while yet. Once new models come out, we can always think of adding new sections or combining sections. I think we have a great group of members on here, and although the site is primarily intended to aid 350Z owners, its not a prerequisite of membership by any means. Were here for those that want a 350, have a 350, had a 350, or indeed have no interest what so ever in the 350, but just want to join a friendly group of folk. Thanks to everyone for making the site what it is, and were always keen to adapt to whatever the members want to see, so heres to the future! Kev946
The 350z community certainly needs a free forum, and I too believe this club will be around for a long time yet. Eventually of course Nissan will stop production and even then, there will still be a dedicated following. The forum has a great bunch of members and is a credi to all those who put there time and effort in keeping it a great place to be.
