taffyjason
most OBD readers with displays are much more expensive, this seems a very good way of doing it whilst having the flexibility of the tablets other features did you fasten the tablet in place or wedged in? im ebaying the tablets now! I'm not 100% sure if it would work on an import mate as i'm not familiar with them I had to separate all the internals from the case of the tablet otherwise it's too big, it is a PITA and very fragile but if your gonna give it go let me know

andyh83
You should be able to connect any android tablet to your phone via wireless (possiby bluetooth, not sure) and use your phones data signal to use googlemaps on the tablet.
